Join Our Team
This is what a day at Hale looks like: you show up to a job knowing exactly what you’re installing, with a written scope in hand, a product line you’ve been trained on, and a customer who already knows your name and face before you knock. No guessing, no overselling, no cutting corners to make a margin work. The job is the job. We do it right or we come back and do it right again – that’s not a slogan, it’s the 365-Day Done Right Promise stamped on every single ticket. If you’re the kind of person who takes quiet pride in a clean install and wants a company that operates the same way you do, read on.
Who We’re Looking For
- Window Installation Technician – Someone who can read a rough opening, level a frame, and seal a unit correctly the first time, without being watched.
- Door Replacement Installer – A hands-on person who understands threshold clearances, weatherstripping, and why a Therma-Tru or ViewLux door that doesn’t hang square is a problem you own.
- Window Repair Specialist – Detail-oriented and honest: you diagnose what’s actually wrong, not what’s easiest to write up, and you know the difference between a failed seal and a hardware issue.
- Installation Apprentice – New to the trade but good with your hands, willing to learn product names and sequences, and the kind of person who asks questions before they make a cut.
- Dispatcher / Scheduling Coordinator – Organized, calm under a full calendar, and clear on the phone – because we answer every call live and the person coordinating jobs sets the tone for the whole customer experience.
- Customer Service Representative – A communicator who can explain a written estimate, walk someone through our Threshold Verified process, and keep a customer informed without overpromising.
What We Offer
Real Training and a Path From Apprentice to Lead
We work across eight professional-grade product lines – PGT, CGI, CWS, ES Windows, ECO Window Systems, Mr-Glass, Therma-Tru, and ViewLux – and we train on all of them. You don’t figure out a new product on a customer’s house. You learn it first, then you use it. As your product knowledge and field judgment build, so does your role. Leads here came up from apprentice positions, and that track is real, not decorative.
Work You Can Actually Be Proud Of
Every job at Hale comes with a written price delivered before work starts and a written guarantee on every repair. That means you’re never put in the position of explaining a surprise invoice or defending sloppy work. When the business runs clean, the crew runs clean. You show up in a uniform, with your name and photo sent ahead to the customer, and you do the job the way it was scoped. That’s it. No upsell pressure, no shortcuts requested from above.
Local Crew, National Backing
Hale is part of the Threshold Group family of home-service brands, which means the tools, training, and operational standards behind us are serious. But your crew is local, your dispatcher is local, and the jobs you run are in communities you know. You’re not a number inside a national call center. You’re part of an independently operated location that agreed to hold itself to the Threshold Standard – and that distinction matters when something goes sideways and you need support.
Steady, Predictable Demand
Windows wear out. Doors go out of square. Those things don’t stop happening because the economy shifts. Hale has been in this business since 2009, and the demand for honest, properly warranted installation and repair work has been consistent throughout. We’re not chasing a trend. This is maintenance and improvement work that homeowners need done right, and they keep calling us back because of how we run jobs.
No Experience? Read This.
If you’ve spent time in construction, carpentry, glazing, general contracting, auto glass, HVAC, or any other trade where you worked with your hands and learned to read a situation before you touched anything – you have more to offer here than you think.
The product knowledge is teachable. The judgment isn’t. We’ve brought in people from completely outside the windows and doors trade who became strong technicians because they understood how buildings move, how materials behave, and how to talk to a homeowner without making them nervous.
Your first months are structured: you work alongside an experienced lead, learn our product lines and installation sequences, and get comfortable with how we document and price work. You won’t be sent solo until you’re ready. If you’re serious, mechanically capable, and the kind of person who reads the instructions before opening the box, call us.
