No window or door experience? That’s not a problem. It’s the expected starting point. Hale Windows & Doors was built so that someone with the right work ethic and a clean background can run a legitimate local business without spending two years figuring out the trade. We train you on the products, the pricing, the hiring, and the software. Then we stay on the line after launch. You bring the drive. We bring the playbook.
Initial Training
Your first weeks with us are structured, not sink-or-swim. Before you ever quote a job, you’ll spend time at our training facility learning the eight product lines we install: PGT, CGI, CWS, ES Windows, ECO Window Systems, Mr-Glass, Therma-Tru, and ViewLux. You don’t need to memorize spec sheets on day one. You need to understand why a coastal home takes an impact-rated CGI window while a mid-century ranch might call for a ViewLux slider. We teach you to match product to problem, not push one brand.
From there, the training moves into operations. How to price a job with a written quote before any work starts. How to schedule installs without burning your crew. How to hire techs who can pass a background check and identity verification, because that’s the Threshold Standard, and we don’t bend it. You’ll also learn the software stack for leads, invoicing, and customer communication. By the time you leave initial training, you’ll know how to run the business, not just talk about windows.
Launch Support
Opening day is not a solo act. A launch team helps you set up local marketing before your first truck rolls. That means your service area gets mapped, your online listings go live, and your lead engine is running before you’ve finished your first install. We don’t hand you a logo and wish you luck. We help you get your first calls, then coach you through pricing and closing those first jobs. Early mistakes are normal. What matters is that you have a senior person on the phone who has already seen those mistakes and can walk you through the fix. Your first ten jobs will teach you more than any classroom, and we’re on the line for every one of them.
Ongoing Support
- Field coaching – Regional support staff who ride along on installs and sales calls when you need a second set of eyes.
